After seven months of 2020, I have fully engaged in “anti-social socialization.” We are all hanging on by something, an emotion, feeling, situation, memory, and or hope for something better in the future. Just know you are not alone.
I am awkward. I feel weird in conversations, and I don’t feel like the world has a space for me outside of my home. As you walk, it’s a sea of people with masks, and no one knows that I am smiling underneath, and my heart is breaking, as I am longing for social interaction. Sometimes I feel invisible, but I understand it is the nature right now because of social distancing, but I hope this is not our forever.
So, here I am.
